Don’t cry for me,
As they laugh at me.
I know my punishment,
But my decision won’t change.
They may speak words of anger,
You may try to stop the hurt.
It may be a matter of life and death,
But I can stand on my own.
Step down from the stand,
Let me rise and allow me to defend.
I pleaded with you over and over again,
But you didn’t listen, thus you were killed..
Emotionally, Mentally and Physically.
You took my place on that hill,
As they choose to kill you.
You said it was not just for me,
You wanted to show the world what love truly is.
And now I stand staring at you,
Holding a white rose so pure like you.
Tears flowed down my cheeks,
As I looked down on the blood splattered flower.
Truly I now understood…
True love.
